AQUA Montserrat Consulting services, design, builds, monitors and evaluates ocean awareness experiences for schools, government, NGOs and communities. We are focused on educating communities of our wonderful yet fragile ocean backyards and the creatures that live within it. In so doing we aim to empower and unite the next generation of ocean leaders.
We are a leading resource in ocean literacy, marine ed-venture, community building, youth empowerment, and program innovation.

Veta is an ocean advocate and outreach specialist, experienced in educating youth via empowerment, and adventure. Through her outreach work Veta has been able to engage communities and volunteers across cultures, age and abilities, in embracing everything marine conservation related.
She has spent the past few years working primarily on Montserrat & Barbuda, identifying and surveying vulnerable reefs, delivering and coordinating ocean camps, beach and sea clean ups, school field trips, volunteers, leading advocacy and community outreach events. Veta is also experienced in liaising with in-country partners and providing advice on directing grassroots conservation efforts.
Veta has developed a working knowledge of educational programmes for schools and youth groups via her Fish ‘n Fins Kids Club; A non-profit, Veta created in 2015, which is an extensive source of ocean edventures for local children.
In 2014 Veta founded AQUA Montserrat, a social business modelled on the concept of marine education/awareness being used as a form of management to reduce damage to coral reefs and build climate resilience. The AQUA model continues to evolve.
She currently coordinates marine awareness projects in association with Waitt Institute, Blue Halo Montserrat, Government of Montserrat & Montserrat National Trust.
